Arrival & Parking
- Large, tarmac car park on a single level with approximately 160 spaces.
- Three clearly marked accessible parking bays close to the main entrance, plus a drop-off point.
- Car park is well lit and covered by CCTV.
Main Entrance & Reception
- Gentle slope leading to the front entrance (door width: 115 cm).
- Assistance bell provided at the entrance.
- Reception desk height: 96 cm, with a lower section for wheelchair users.
- Reception area has natural daylight and spotlighting.
- Staffed 24 hours a day.
Public Areas
- All public areas are on the ground floor and level throughout.
- Mixture of carpeted and tiled flooring.
- Lounge areas offer seating at various heights.
Toilets
- Accessible toilet with wheelchair access located centrally on the ground floor.
- Additional ladies’ and gents’ toilets available nearby.
- All toilet floors are wood, tiled or safety flooring.
Restaurant & Bar
- Located on the ground floor with level access from reception and public areas.
- Restaurant is carpeted; all furniture is movable.
- Menus available in large print on request.
- Full table service provided. Continental breakfast is buffet-style but can be served to the table on request.
- Bar and lounge have carpeted flooring, movable furniture, and seating at different heights. Table service is available all day.
Conference & Function Suites
- Most function rooms are on the ground floor with level access.
- Some rooms (Dixon and Bead) are not step-free.
- Dedicated ladies’ and gents’ toilets are located near the Lagonda and Virage suites.
Bedrooms
- No ground-floor bedrooms are available in the Main House.
- In the West Wing, there are 8 ground-floor rooms, including one fully accessible room featuring:
- Wheelchair access throughout.
- Wet room with roll-in shower, grab rails, and emergency pull-cord alarms linked to reception.
- Additional bedrooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of both the Main House and West Wing:
- West Wing rooms are accessible by lift.
- Main House rooms are only accessible by stairs (no lift).
- Bathrooms vary: some with showers over baths, others with separate showers and baths.
- All bedrooms include:
- Direct dial telephone and free internet access.
- Remote control flatscreen TV.
- Natural daylight, ceiling spotlights, and bedside lamps.
- Please let us know at the time of booking if you require extra space for mobility or any specific facilities.
General Information
- Luggage assistance available at all times.
- Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas.
- Fire safety:
- Smoke detectors fitted in all bedrooms and public areas.
- Fire alarm system is audible only and tested every Monday at 11:00 am.
- Main fire escape is external; exits and assembly points are clearly marked.
- Emergency procedures are displayed in each bedroom and in the guest compendium.
- Guests requiring assistance in an emergency are asked to notify reception on arrival and complete the registration card accordingly.
- Emergency information can be communicated verbally on request.
