I’ve worked in the hotel industry for over 17 years, starting out as a part-time Food & Beverage Assistant before moving through C&B and achieving my first General Manager role in 2021. I have a very strong background in F&B operations, along with C&B, where I’ve overseen everything from large banquets to weddings.
As a leader, I’m team-focused, results-driven, and above all guest-driven. What I love most about my job is making sure every guest journey is memorable, while ensuring my team and I have fun along the way. Around the hotel, I’m known as the resident ‘tinkerer’. I like to fix things so that nothing ever gets in the way of a great guest experience.

I’ve been in the hotel world for over 20 years now, and right from the start, as a trainee in a 5-star hotel. I knew the Rooms Division was where my heart was. I’ve spent the past eight years as Reception Manager here at Aston Hall Hotel, and I’m really excited to have just stepped into my new role as Rooms Division Manager which means I now oversee and support both the Reception and Housekeeping teams.
Although I’m British born, I’ve been lucky enough to live and work on two other continents and also spend 5 years in the Caribbean, which has given me so many experiences (and a bit of a mixed-up accent!). It also means the question I get asked the most is: “So, where are you from?” and I never get tired of answering it!

Starting my journey at Aston Hall as a Sales and Events Co-ordinator and now stepping into the role of Conference and Events Sales Manager, I’ve gained invaluable experience and grown a real passion for the industry. Along the way, I’ve discovered a genuine interest in the corporate events world, something I hadn’t expected, but now really enjoy.
From birthday parties, baby showers, and anniversaries to team-building days, conferences, and celebrations of life, no two events are ever the same, and that’s what I love most. Whether I’m meeting with clients face to face or supporting them over email, it’s a privilege to help bring their vision to life, whatever the occasion.
Regardless of whether the event is corporate or personal, I’m committed to ensuring every detail is prepared flawlessly. I prioritise strong client relationships and work closely with our operations and kitchen teams to guarantee seamless coordination behind the scenes.
For me, the heart of hospitality is connection, being a sounding board for ideas, offering support through emotional moments, or simply sharing a laugh while planning a special celebration. It’s those stories and relationships that make every day unique.
Favourite part of the job: Getting to know our clients and being part of their journey, no matter how big or small the event. What might feel like a simple task on my side could be a big moment for them, whether it’s celebrating a milestone or taking part in their first conference, so I love helping make those moments truly special.
Fun fact: I thrive in the hustle and bustle, especially during the festive season when the hotel truly comes alive!
